I offer both individual and couples therapy. My work with individuals uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and this approach is heavily influenced by my training in
Couples Therapy. I also offer couples Imago therapy sessions
and weekend long retreats at Oak Crest Lodge, on scenic Peter’s Pond, in

is a weekend long retreat based on theories and exercises from the NY Times Bestselling book
of a similar name by Harville Hendrix, Ph.D. and Helen LaKelly Hunt, Ph.D.
is a form of relationship and couples work that focuses on equipping partners to satisfy each other's unmet childhood needs so they can establish a broader sense of safety and grow in deeper connection with one another.
provides you with a distraction-free weekend focused on your relationship. You will learn to validate your conflicts, power struggles and frustrations as predictable and even necessary aspects of a committed relationship.
We will present, demonstrate and practice essential relational tools that will help resolve conflicts and move you to a more meaningful connection as a couple. You'll practice the skills that will allow you to increase safety and reduce reactivity in your relationship.
You will leave the workshop with a jointly created vision of what your ideal relationship will look like and knowledge of the tools necessary to take you on that journey.
is a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist with more than 20 years of experience in private practice helping couples rekindle their connection. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Masters in Clinical Psychology and has completed post graduate training at Smith College School of Social Work.
is a higher education administrator and former college lecturer. He has a an M.A. in Political Science that he earned as a doctoral candidate at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He's also completed a post-graduate certificate in higher education management at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
Joanne and Todd have been a couple for 26 years, have three children, a cat and a dog and they all live together on Cape Cod.
